The Expedition

The Expedition is a theatre production by Lookout Theatre Company, Peter Lannon and Rosie Reid - graduates of the BA(hons) Contemporary Performance Practice programme at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. The Expedition was performed over three days and nights, 14th - 16th January 2013, at The Arches in Glasgow, as part of Into The New festival.

I was commissioned to design the sound for this performance, enhancing their ideas with a soundtrack that was produced using a combination of sound recordings, found sounds and samples.

Aimed at youngsters, but thought provoking for audiences of all ages, this performance deals with ideas of loss, change, belief and sense of self, bringing tears of both joy and of pain to its audience.
